Deck overview

This Rakdos deck pairs Tormod, the Desecrator with Dargo, the Shipwrecker to form a high-synergy Aristocrats engine. The deck focuses on generating expendable fodder, sacrificing it to cheat Dargo into play ahead of curve, and triggering graveyard recursion to create armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens with Tormod. Once established, drain permanents such as Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Mayhem Devil convert continuous cycles of sacrifice and recursion into table-wide life loss while Dargo applies substantial combat pressure. The deck features dense low-cost ramp, strong recursive resilience, and functional redundancy across its primary engine roles. However, it operates without unconditional tutors or stack interaction, and it is critically vulnerable to sweeping graveyard exile and persistent enchantment removal.
