Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck is a dedicated poison and proliferate midrange build designed to eliminate all three opponents simultaneously through 10 poison counters. The game plan focuses on landing early toxic and infect creatures—such as Skrelv, Defector Mite, Crawling Chorus, and Ichor Rats—to infect each opponent as early as possible. Once poison counters are distributed, the deck transitions into deploying Atraxa and compounding proliferate engines, including Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Inexorable Tide, and Contaminant Grafter. Because poison counters cannot be removed, the deck's clock exhibits strong structural inevitability; even if creatures are removed, subsequent non-combat proliferate spells continue ticking opponents toward defeat. The deck supports this aggressive clock with asymmetric sweepers like White Sun's Twilight and Toxic Deluge, though it remains vulnerable to instant-speed interaction and opposing fast combos due to a low density of countermagic and spot removal.
