Deck overview

This Dimir deck is centered on Emet-Selch, Unsundered, aiming to rapidly fill the graveyard to fourteen cards and transform into Hades, Sorcerer of Eld. Once transformed, Hades provides continuous Yawgmoth's Will access during your turn, allowing every card in the graveyard to be cast. The deck utilizes dense, low-cost self-mill enablers like Glimpse the Unthinkable, Mesmeric Orb, and Stinkweed Imp alongside explosive mana acceleration such as Dark Ritual and Songs of the Damned. Upon transforming on Turn 4, the deck leverages its graveyard as a massive second hand to generate storm count with Brain Freeze, chain into extra turns with Capture of Jingzhou and Temporal Manipulation, or overwhelm the board with massive descended beaters including The Ancient One and Cruel Somnophage. A robust suite of 1-mana counterspells and blink protection shields the commander during critical setup windows.
