Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Equipment midrange strategy led by T'Challa, the Black Panther. The primary game plan revolves around casting T'Challa early to generate indestructible Vibranium tokens on entry and attack. These tokens accelerate the deployment of high-cost historic spells and heavy Equipment with mana value 4 or greater, which in turn place +1/+1 counters on T'Challa to scale his offensive power. The deck transitions into the midgame by suiting up the commander or large artifact beaters such as Bronze Guardian with formidable weapons like Hulkbuster Armor, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Genji Glove. While the deck excels at generating steady artifact mana and presenting lethal combat damage by Turn 6, it relies almost entirely on natural draws rather than tutors, meaning access to specific evasion, card draw, and defensive tools can be uneven. It closes games through sequential combat eliminations backed by overrun effects.
