Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros kindred build commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The primary strategy deploys low-cost Dwarves during the early turns to build board presence and generate Treasure tokens via incidental triggers from cards like Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Iron Hills Blacksmith. Once Thorin enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dwarf creates an artifact token, and Thorin grants a massive static power boost to all other Dwarves equal to the total count of artifact tokens controlled. This quickly turns an unassuming board of 2/2 creatures into lethal threats swinging for double-digit damage per creature. The deck leverages token-doubling engines such as Academy Manufactor and Xorn to accelerate both mana and power scaling. Defensive flickers and Equipment subthemes provide resilience and utility, aiming to overwhelm opponents in mid-game combat steps without relying on infinite combos.
