Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai +1/+1 counter and proliferate midrange engine commanded by The Wise Mothman. The primary strategy focuses on deploying the commander on turn 3 or 4 to distribute rad counters to all players. During each player's precombat main phase, rad counters mill nonland cards, triggering Mothman to distribute +1/+1 counters across your board. Counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and Corpsejack Menace accelerate creature growth, turning Mothman into a lethal flying threat while secondary creatures apply toxic and poison pressure. Draw engines such as Danny Pink and Fathom Mage convert counter placement into card advantage, while versatile protection spells like Ripples of Potential and Heroic Intervention shield the board from interaction. The deck closes games around turn 7 through massive combat damage, commander damage, proliferate-driven poison counters, or an alternate win via Simic Ascendancy.
