Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue control and wheel strategy piloted by Vnwxt, Verbose Host. The game plan revolves around rapidly advancing player speed from 1 to 4 using cheap, unblockable attackers like Mist-Cloaked Herald and Invisible Stalker. Once Max Speed is unlocked, Vnwxt provides an emblem-like replacement effect that doubles all card draws while removing hand size limits. The deck breaks symmetry on group draw artifacts such as Howling Mine and Dictate of Kruphix, burying opponents in card advantage while holding up dense countermagic. The primary win condition converts massive card velocity into direct table damage using Psychosis Crawler paired with wheel effects like Windfall, Day's Undoing, and Echo of Eons. Backup paths include decking opponents with Forced Fruition, assembling an 8/8 Kraken army with Ominous Seas, or winning via Laboratory Maniac.
