Deck overview

This mono-green Voltron deck focuses on maximizing the combat efficiency of Hit-Monkey. Thanks to its built-in suite of keywords—uncounterable, haste, hexproof, vigilance, and deathtouch—Hit-Monkey arrives ready to attack and naturally shrugs off targeted removal. The deck accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2 with efficient ramp like Wild Growth, Nature's Lore, and Elvish Mystic, consistently deploying Hit-Monkey by turn 3 or 4. Once on the battlefield, the deck stacks power boosts, Auras, and Equipment such as Blanchwood Armor, Fireshrieker, Loxodon Warhammer, and Bounty of Might to rapidly scale commander damage. Deathtouch also turns cheap fight spells like Bushwhack and Epic Fight into unconditional creature removal. Because the deck eliminates opponents one by one across sequential combat steps, it relies on Hit-Monkey's vigilance to maintain defense while racing the table toward a Turn 8 finish.
