Deck overview

This is a Jeskai spellslinger deck built around Kykar, Wind's Fury. Kykar is the mana engine: every noncreature spell creates a Spirit that can be sacrificed for red, letting cheap spells chain into each other. The primary plan is to establish a draw engine such as Whirlwind of Thought or Jeskai Ascendancy, then cast many instants and sorceries while Fiery Inscription and Guttersnipe convert those spells into repeated damage to all opponents. Kykar, Zephyr Awakener in the 99 acts as a hidden secondary commander, offering protection and extra Spirit generation. Secondary paths include a stormed Grapeshot, a large Crackle with Power, or the deterministic Elsha + Top loop.
