Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Dimir reanimator combo deck commanded by Gyruda, Doom of Depths. The primary strategy focuses on ramping aggressively into a Turn 4 Gyruda. When Gyruda enters the battlefield, each player mills 4 cards, and Gyruda reanimates an even-cost creature from among them. Because the deck features 27 even-mana-value clone creatures—such as Spark Double, Phantasmal Image, Flesh Duplicate, and Auton Soldier—each hit enters as a copy of Gyruda to repeat the enter-the-battlefield trigger. Trigger multipliers like Panharmonicon, Roaming Throne, and Starfield Vocalist accelerate this process. The chain rapidly mills through all libraries at the table. Kozilek, Butcher of Truth prevents self-milling by shuffling your graveyard back into your library, leaving all three opponents with empty libraries to lose on their subsequent draw steps on Turn 5.
