Deck overview

This is a Jeskai artifact-vehicle midrange deck helmed by Optimus Prime, Hero // Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader. The front face is a 4/8 Robot that bolsters at each end step and recurs converted on death; the back face is a 6/8 living-metal Vehicle that bolsters 2 on attack, gives trample, and flips back when the chosen creature connects. The actual plan, however, is artifact goodstuff: deploy artifact ramp and cost reducers, then bury the table under big artifact beaters (Blightsteel Colossus, Darksteel Colossus, Triplicate Titan, the Ancient dragons) and token engines (Sharding Sphinx, Karn, Scion of Urza, Mirrodin Besieged) amplified by Anointed Procession and Academy Manufactor. Wins come through combat, or the alternate conditions of Mechanized Production and Mirrodin Besieged (Phyrexian mode). Open the Vaults and Academy Ruins rebuild after wipes. Optimus is a useful bolster/value engine, but the deck is a self-sufficient artifact pile that runs fine commander-less.
