Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Dungeon Reanimator strategy piloted by Sefris of the Hidden Ways. The primary game plan centers on utilizing cheap discard outlets, looters, and self-sacrificing creatures to trigger Sefris's venture ability on both your turn and opponents' turns. Navigating dungeons like Lost Mine of Phandelver quickly unlocks Sefris's Create Undead trigger, cheating massive game-ending creatures such as Archon of Cruelty, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, and Ashen Rider directly onto the battlefield without paying their high mana costs. Supported by standalone reanimation spells like Reanimate and Living Death, the deck maintains powerful graveyard redundancy. A robust interaction package featuring efficient countermagic, exile removal, and proactive stax elements keeps opponents off balance while large reanimated fliers close out the game through overwhelming combat damage and asymmetric attrition.
