Deck overview

This Dimir deck pairs The Master, Formed Anew with companion Gyruda, Doom of Depths, adhering to a strict even-mana-value restriction. The primary strategy accelerates mana on turn two using dense two-mana artifact ramp, preparing to cast high-impact even-cost threats such as Gyruda, Doom of Depths, Sire of Stagnation, or Noxious Gearhulk. The Master, Formed Anew exiles these threats on cast with takeover counters, allowing it to enter the battlefield as a low-cost two-mana copy. Using repeatable bounce engines like Cavern Harpy and Sanctum of Eternity, the deck repeatedly returns and recasts The Master to trigger enter-the-battlefield abilities, mill cards, and reanimate large beaters like Galactus, Devourer of Worlds and Armaggon, Future Shark. A deep suite of two-mana counterspells and instant-speed removal provides strong interaction while protecting board development. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents through sustained enter-the-battlefield card advantage, graveyard recursion, and combat damage across multiple attack steps.
