Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edgar Markov heads a low-curve Mardu Vampire swarm that turns every Vampire spell into a free 1/1 token via Eminence. The primary plan is to flood the board with low-cost Vampires and pump them with lords, while a secondary drain theme (Blood Artist, Sanctum Seeker, Vein Ripper) chips all opponents simultaneously. A compact infinite life-drain combo with Exquisite Blood plus Vito or Sanguine Bond offers a deterministic alternative finish. Edgar himself is a late-game accelerant: when cast, his haste attack spreads +1/+1 counters across the army, converting a wide board into a fast multi-player clock. Sorin Imperious Bloodlord and Bloodline Keeper provide alternate development or go-over-the-top angles.
