Deck overview

This colorless Commander deck is commanded by Ultima, Origin of Oblivion and operates as a big-mana stompy and control engine. The strategy relies on a dense suite of 1-to-3 CMC mana rocks to deploy Ultima ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Ultima doubles the mana produced by all lands tapping for {C}, instantly scaling available mana to 10 or more on Turn 5. The deck converts this massive mana surplus into devastating high-CMC threats, including Eldrazi titans like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Ulamog, the Defiler, Emrakul, the Promised End, and oppressive control artifacts like Portal to Phyrexia and God-Pharaoh's Statue. Combat and cast triggers strip opposing permanents and blight opposing lands while swinging for lethal damage over several turns. Even without the commander, redundant mana multipliers like Forsaken Monument and Ugin, the Ineffable maintain reliable mid-game threat deployment.
