Scourge

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a high-power Mardu Vampire aristocrats deck helmed by Edgar Markov. Eminence floods the board with 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever you cast Vampire spells, even from the command zone, while Edgar's haste body and attack trigger pump the swarm. The real win engine lives in the 99: life-gain/loss loops anchored by Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror, backed by dense death-trigger drains (Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Vein Ripper, The Meathook Massacre) and sac outlets. Premium black card selection-Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, Bolas's Citadel, Underworld Breach-plus a tight tutor suite assembles the loops quickly. Combat finishes with Akroma's Will or Olivia's Wrath clearing a path remain viable backups. The deck plays as a fast, redundant combo shell that incidentally goes wide.
