Deck overview

This is a value-oriented Archelos, Lagoon Mystic landfall deck. It develops through basic lands, fetch-like lands, ramp spells, and land-recursion effects, then turns repeated land entries into cards, mana, tokens, and creature growth. Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, Tatyova, Benthic Druid, The Gitrog Monster, and Muldrotha, the Gravetide provide the main engines. Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, Scute Swarm, and Zendikar's Roil convert that resource advantage into a battlefield. The plan is coherent but slow: the main engine is normally usable around Turn 7, and the first decisive board usually appears around Turn 9. The deck has useful answers and some protection, but its singleton access, expensive threats, limited haste or evasion, and lack of a compact finish prevent a reliable table kill. It is best played as a gradual midrange deck that wins through accumulated landfall advantage rather than a combo deck.
