Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Naya Equipment Voltron build centered on Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The core strategy focuses on setting up high-impact Equipment in the early turns, then casting Cloud on Turn 4. Because Cloud has haste and auto-attaches an Equipment upon entry, he bypasses expensive equip costs and immediately swings as a 7+ power threat. His attack trigger draws cards and generates Treasure tokens, establishing a self-funding combat engine. The deck utilizes an extensive Equipment tutor package to locate pieces like Colossus Hammer, Sunforger, and Commander's Plate with high consistency. A dedicated Sunforger package allows the deck to tutor answers and game-winning protection spells like Teferi's Protection, Boros Charm, and Heroic Intervention at instant speed. While it relies heavily on combat damage to eliminate opponents across multiple rotations, turn-silence effects and robust anti-removal shielding ensure Cloud connects decisively.
