Format: Commander

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari Pest and Insect deck wins by going wide and gaining life. Blech, Loafing Pest turns every life gain into +1/+1 counters on all Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes and Spiders, so Pest deaths, landfall and attack triggers steadily grow the board. The main win is combat with that pumped board, closed by Blossoming Bogbeast or Lisette trample overruns. Secondary wins drain without combat through Dina, Soul Steeper, Defiling Daemogoth and Cauldron of Essence, which punish opponents whenever you gain life. Blech is the counter engine, not a combo piece. Dina, Soul Steeper acts as the hidden commander, turning the same lifegain into direct loss.
