Format: Commander

Commander: Varina, Lich Queen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Varina, Lich Queen leads a Zombie tribal deck that uses her attack-looting to fuel the graveyard, draw into tutors, and generate Zombie tokens. The primary plan is to develop a wide Zombie board with lords and evasion, then pivot to a compact infinite combo such as Heliod + Walking Ballista, Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond, or the Gravecrawler/Phyrexian Altar/Rooftop Storm loop. Zur the Enchanter acts as a hidden secondary engine, fetching Smothering Tithe and Rhystic Study to accelerate and draw. The deck can win through combat or a two-card combo, and includes enough recursion and reanimation to grind against disruption.
