Deck overview

Selvala, Explorer Returned is a single-faced commander, and this GW deck is built around her parley ability as the central ramp/draw engine. The plan is to establish Selvala early, convert her taps into green mana and life while opponents draw, and then build a wide board of tokens and trampling beaters. Crescendo of War and a handful of anthems make the token army lethal; Decree of Justice and Saproling Burst are the primary finishers. Recursion, cycling, and land/artifact denial round out the plan. There is no hidden commander; the list is a midrange token-beatdown build rather than a combo deck, with Armageddon and Smokestack acting as asymmetric lock pieces when Selvala is online.
