Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dimir Zombie tribal strategy commanded by The Scarab God, combining graveyard reanimation, aristocrats drain, and token swarm. Early turns focus on mana acceleration and deploying low-cost Zombie bodies such as Cryptbreaker, Gravecrawler, and synergy lords like Death Baron. By turn 5, The Scarab God lands to tie the board together, leveraging upkeep triggers to scry deeply and drain opponents based on Zombie count. Its activated ability provides instant-speed recursion and theft from any graveyard, turning opposing threats into 4/4 Zombies. The deck features high-synergy engines such as Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, Necroduality, and Noxious Ghoul, backed by premium card advantage engines in Rhystic Study and Mystic Remora. While capable of ending games via wide combat and drain spells like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, it also harbors a compact infinite win condition in Rooftop Storm and Acererak the Archlich.
