The Ur-Dragon by Xandar93

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon commands a five-color Dragon tribal deck that uses continuous cost reduction to deploy massive, evasive threats ahead of curve. The eminence ability discounts every Dragon spell from the command zone, allowing you to ramp into high-impact threats like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Old Gnawbone. The deck overwhelms opponents through aerial combat damage enhanced by Atarka, World Render, non-combat damage triggers from Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas, and explosive extra combat phases from Hellkite Charger or Scourge of the Throne. When cast, The Ur-Dragon provides overwhelming card advantage and free permanents, quickly closing the game.
