DeckCheck Threat Index: 41

Deck overview

This deck leverages Satoru Umezawa to cheat massive, game-ending threats into play as early as Turn 4. The game plan relies on a dense suite of evasive 1-drop creatures such as Changeling Outcast and Slither Blade. After landing an unblockable attacker on Turn 1 or 2 and casting Satoru on Turn 3, the deck spends 4 mana during Turn 4 combat to activate ninjutsu. This swaps the small attacker for devastating threats like Blightsteel Colossus, Archon of Cruelty, or Valgavoth, Terror Eater. Satoru's triggered ability digs three cards deep on each activation, replacing card resources and smoothing draws. A strong Dimir interaction package featuring Counterspell, Mana Drain, and Toxic Deluge protects the board while disrupting opposing strategies. The primary win condition executes via rapid combat eliminations, sequentially dismantling opponents using infect damage, combat triggers, and overwhelming board pressure.
