Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Kibo, Uktabi Prince, utilizing a unique blend of group-hug artifact generation and severe artifact punishment. By distributing Banana tokens to every player, Kibo sets up massive board-wide counter triggers whenever opponents crack their Bananas or when you detonate them with asymmetric sweepers like Meltdown, Vandalblast, and Brotherhood's End. The deck uses low-cost ramp to land Kibo on Turn 2 or 3, builds a dense board of Ape and Monkey creatures, and rapidly scales their power using counter doublers like Branching Evolution. Opponents are caught in a squeeze: using their Bananas accelerates Kibo's team, while hoarding them makes them vulnerable to total wipeouts. Combat finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede, Garruk's Uprising, and Chandra's Ignition convert the resulting massive power into a lethal closeout, while comprehensive protection spells keep Kibo's primate army safe from standard removal.
