Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Selesnya midrange strategy commanded by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The primary game plan focuses on generating creature tokens, multiplying them with effects like Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and leveraging Trostani's lifegain trigger to build an insurmountable life cushion. The deck transitions into lethal pressure on Turn 6 by deploying massive overrun payoffs such as Craterhoof Behemoth or Blossoming Bogbeast, eliminating opponents in 1 to 2 combat swings. In addition to wide combat, the deck features the compact two-card combo of Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista as an alternate instant-win condition. It maintains strong resilience against traditional sweepers through instant-speed protection like Heroic Intervention and Flawless Maneuver, while utilizing Aura Shards to continuously dismantle opposing noncreature permanents.
