Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal stompy list commanded by The Ur-Dragon. The game plan revolves around leveraging the commander's eminence ability to discount massive, evasive flying beaters. Early turns focus on mana fixing and deploying cost-reducers such as Dragonlord's Servant and Dragonspeaker Shaman. In the mid-game, the deck establishes dominant value engines using Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Temur Ascendancy to generate extra Dragon tokens and maintain card flow. The deck transitions into a lethal win condition around Turn 6 by stacking severe combat multipliers like Atarka, World Render, Thrakkus the Butcher, and Twinflame Tyrant, or by burning opponents directly with Scourge of Valkas. While the deck generates overwhelming aerial board presence and resilient beaters, its high average mana value, low land count with heavy tap-land friction, and light reactive interaction make it susceptible to fast combo decks and well-timed sweepers.
