Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kefka, Court Mage is a Grixis wizard-combo deck that uses the front face as a discard-and-draw engine to stock hands and feed Waste Not, Megrim, Liliana's Caress, and Tergrid. The deck is built to use both faces: the front generates card advantage and hand attack, while the back, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, turns opponent life loss into a draw engine that loops with Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Psychosis Crawler. Its fastest kill, however, is commander-independent: Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame/Electroduplicate creates infinite hasty tokens. Rionya, Fire Dancer with Combat Celebrant provides an extra-combat alternate, and a dense tutor suite plus rituals make the combo lines repeatable.
