Deck overview

This Grixis build uses Sauron, the Dark Lord as a repeatable ring-tempt and draw engine, converting looting and self-mill into reanimation fuel. The primary plan is to land Sauron, trigger the Ring to discard and draw four, then reanimate large threats such as Sauron, Lord of the Rings, The Balrog of Moria, and Sepulchral Primordial to close with combat. Secondary paths use Saruman, the White Hand and Lord of the Nazgul to amass token armies, Fiery Inscription and Guttersnipe to drain from spells, and Scourge of the Throne for extra attacks. The deck has strong card selection and recursion, but no deterministic combo, so it wins through incremental value and one or two large swings.
