Warp Maxxing (Abaddon, the Despoiler) by leftlegcemetery

Format: Commander

Commander: Abaddon the Despoiler

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis group-slug deck built to convert chip damage into an avalanche of free spells. The commander, Abaddon the Despoiler, cascades on every hand-cast spell whose mana value is at or below the total life opponents have lost this turn, so the 99 is built around one sentence: "each opponent loses life." Descent into Avernus, Spawn of Mayhem, Stormfist Crusader, Court of Ambition, Keen Duelist, and Duskmantle Seer all feed Abaddon's X while slowly draining the table. The real engines behind the commander are Neheb, the Eternal (postcombat red mana), Prosper, Tome-Bound (exile value), Nalfeshnee (copying cascade spells), and Bloodletter of Aclazotz (doubling your-turn life loss), which turn the trickle into bursts from Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Cut // Ribbons. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through attrition, cascading into free removal, card draw, and burn, then closing with trampling demons and Field of the Dead zombie tokens.
