Deck overview

This Gruul Voltron deck harnesses Wolverine, Best There Is to eliminate opponents through explosive, doubled commander damage. The game plan focuses on deploying Wolverine on Turn 3, attaching high-impact equipment or power doublers on Turn 4, and delivering lethal one-shot strikes on Turn 5 and beyond. Wolverine's Unrivaled Lethality doubles all damage he deals, cutting the commander damage requirement from 21 down to 11 base power. Supporting cards like Colossus Hammer, Berserk, and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar accelerate table-wide eliminations. While Wolverine features built-in regeneration to shrug off destroy effects and combat damage, the deck protects its commander with targeted hexproof spells and protective equipment like Commander's Plate. It generates steady tempo through combat triggers from Sword of Feast and Famine and Nature's Will, presenting a relentless aggro clock that systematically dismantles opponents.
