Deck overview

This deck is a WUBRG Polymorph midrange strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan revolves around generating cheap creature tokens through cards like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller, then using Jace's −3 loyalty ability to transform those tokens into high-impact creature bombs directly from the library. The 99 features an elite roster of threats, including Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, and Avacyn, Angel of Horror. A dense suite of two-mana mana artifacts ensures consistent Turn 4 commander deployment and immediate activation. Defensive sweepers like Sunfall and White Sun's Twilight clear opposing battlefields while leaving behind fresh tokens to polymorph on subsequent turns. The deck closes games through compounding aerial combat damage, life-drain attrition, and asymmetric board protection.
