Deck overview

This deck is an Esper draw-drain and synergy deck commanded by Queza, Augur of Agonies. The strategy centers on weaponizing high-volume card draw into incremental life drain, pillowfort defense, and decisive combo finishes. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and deploying defensive stax pieces like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Narset, Parter of Veils. Once Queza is established alongside draw engines like Teferi's Ageless Insight or The Council of Four, the deck rapidly drains opposing life totals while refilling the hand. The primary win condition leverages Lich's Mastery or Marina Vendrell's Grimoire, which loop life gain and card draws to draw through the library and finish with Thassa's Oracle, Laboratory Maniac, or lethal life drain. Alternate win routes like Psychosis Crawler and Doomsday provide robust redundancy.
