Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Simic token and counters strategy helmed by The Astonishing Ant-Man. The game plan revolves around turning card-draw triggers into physical board presence. Whenever you draw cards through staples like Rhystic Study, Teferi's Ageless Insight, or cantrips, Ant-Man grows with +1/+1 counters. You then tap Ant-Man to cash in those counters for an army of 1/1 green Insect tokens. Once a wide token board is established, the deck finishes the table in one decisive blow using mass-pump spells such as Craterhoof Behemoth or Overwhelming Stampede. Countermagic and protection spells defend your engine while heavy draw keeps your hand full. If the primary commander plan is disrupted, independent threats like Koma, Cosmos Serpent and alternate win conditions like Twenty-Toed Toad provide resilient backup routes to victory.
