Deck overview

This Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow deck executes a high-tempo burn strategy that converts cheap, unblockable creatures into massive table-wide life loss and card advantage. By activating Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2, the deck cheats Yuriko into play uncountered and immune to commander tax. It uses top-deck manipulation such as Brainstorm, Scroll Rack, and Lim-Dûl's Vault to place high-mana-value cards—such as delve spells and split cards—on top of the library right before combat damage resolves. While Yuriko draws these cards, each opponent simultaneously loses life equal to their high mana values. Type-modifying enchantments like Arcane Adaptation turn all unblockable attackers into Ninjas, multiplying triggers per combat step. Extra-turn spells like Temporal Trespass and Expropriate compact the clock, allowing the deck to close out games around Turn 6 while keeping opponents off-balance through tactical bounce, removal, and steady card flow.
