Deck overview

This Sultai deck harnesses The Wise Mothman to execute a potent aggro-mill strategy powered by radiation counters and +1/+1 counter scaling. Fast artifact mana enables an explosive early game, deploying the commander by Turn 2 or 3. As players mill nonland cards during their precombat main phases from rad counters, Mothman rapidly distributes +1/+1 counters across your board. Synergies with counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider turn small creatures into massive evasive threats within turns. Secondary drain engines like Syr Konrad, the Grim and Mindcrank convert opposing mill into direct life loss, quickly finishing damaged opponents. The deck protects its board through premier defensive spells such as Mutational Advantage and Ripples of Potential, while utilizing graveyard recursion via Muldrotha, the Gravetide to maintain sustained resilience against opposing removal.
