Deck overview

This Jund Commander deck is commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch and focuses on weaponizing -1/-1 counters for attrition, card advantage, and board dominance. The deck ramps during the early turns to deploy Auntie Ool on Turn 4, immediately converting counter placement into cards and life drain. In the mid-game, asymmetric lock pieces and mass-wither effects like Kulrath Knight, Carnifex Demon, and Archfiend of Ifnir dismantle opposing creature boards while creating massive armies through Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Flourishing Defenses. The deck features an infinite creature death and wipe combo in Blowfly Infestation plus Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, but primarily wins on Turn 8 through wide combat damage and continuous life drain. Although highly resilient against creature-based combat and packed with versatile spot removal, the list lacks stack interaction and relies on natural draws due to an absence of nonland tutors.
