Deck overview

This Golgari turbo combo deck leverages explosive fast mana, dense unconditional tutoring, and compact instant-win lines to close games on Turn 3. The commander, Witherbloom, the Balancer, serves as an 8-CMC affinity enabler and high-ceiling value piece that turns Stinging Study into an instant-speed draw-8. However, the deck's primary victory route bypasses the commander entirely. It utilizes Entomb and Life // Death to cheat Hoarding Broodlord into play, convoking Saw in Half to assemble both Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog. Alternatively, it deploys Onyx directly with anti-counter protection from Allosaurus Shepherd, Delighted Halfling, or Veil of Summer. Self-targeting with Chain of Smog triggers infinite Magecraft life drain, killing the entire table in a single main phase with zero response cycles. Redundant lines with Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and Sedgemoor Witch provide seamless resilience.
