Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggro and Voltron strategy built around Dwarf tribal synergies and Equipment. Led by Bruenor Battlehammer, the deck aims to deploy low-cost Equipment and Dwarves in the opening turns, cast Bruenor on Turn 4, and use his free equip ability to attach heavy weapons like Greataxe or Kaldra Compleat without paying their steep equip costs. From Turn 5 onward, the deck attacks individual opponents with massive commander damage. While Bruenor provides rapid single-target pressure and strong resilience against equip costs, the deck relies on natural land drops due to a lack of cheap mana rocks. Furthermore, its win condition requires navigating combat across several turn cycles, leaving it exposed to targeted creature removal and sweepers. Card advantage is supported by Kíli the Resourceful and Depala, Pilot Exemplar, but the deck mainly focuses on straightforward, high-impact combat steps.
