Format: Commander

Commander: Kilo, Apogee Mind

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kilo, Apogee Mind is an artifact commander with haste whose tap trigger proliferates, so the deck is built to tap it as often as possible-through attack, Springleaf Drum, Paradise Mantle, or Relic of Legends-and turn every counter type into a clock. The primary win is poison: Prologue to Phyresis gives each opponent one poison counter, then Kilo and Tekuthal multiply proliferate triggers to ten. Secondary paths are Twenty-Toed Toad's 20-counter/hand-size win and Lux Artillery's 30-counter end-step burn. Optimus Prime acts as a hidden commander, a recursive legendary artifact beater that bolsters and can convert into a vehicle. The commander is the engine, but the deck has enough standalone proliferate pieces to continue without it.
