Deck overview

This deck is a classic Grixis Wheels and Group Slug strategy piloted by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary game plan revolves around turning symmetrical card draw into asymmetrical life loss. Early turns focus on establishing mana fixing, ramp, and low-cost draw punishers such as Underworld Dreams or Orcish Bowmasters. Once Nekusar, the Mindrazer enters the battlefield on Turn 5, the deck transitions into its lethal phase on Turn 6 by resolving mass wheel effects like Windfall, Dark Deal, and Reforge the Soul. Each wheel deals massive bursts of damage across the entire table while constantly disrupting opponents' hand states. Supporting engines like Waste Not and Teferi's Puzzle Box amplify mana velocity and continuous attrition.
