Rivaz (AI updated)

Format: Commander

Commander: Rivaz of the Claw

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rivaz of the Claw is both the mana battery and the graveyard engine of a Rakdos Dragon reanimator. The primary plan is to discard or mill Dragons, then use Rivaz to cast one of them from the graveyard each turn while paying for it with his tap ability. Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest turn every Dragon ETB into direct damage, while Lathliss, Bladewing, and Scourge of the Throne snowball the board and provide extra combat. Living Death and Patriarch's Bidding offer mass-reanimation fallbacks. The commander's role is central: tapping for Dragon-only mana plus one graveyard cast per turn allows a stream of 5-7 mana Dragons ahead of curve. The deck has no hidden commander; its identity is recursive dragon beatdown and ETB burn backed by competent removal.
