Deck overview

This deck is a high-power competitive Commander build centered on The Gitrog Monster. It aims to assemble a deterministic combo that draws the entire library and generates infinite mana to win in a single turn. The primary plan combines the commander with a free discard outlet such as Putrid Imp or Wild Mongrel and the dredge land Dakmor Salvage. Discarding Dakmor Salvage replaces Gitrog draw triggers with Dredge 2, creating a self-sustaining loop that recycles the graveyard using Eldrazi titans like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth. Once the deck is drawn, looping Lotus Petal produces infinite mana to exile opposing libraries with Bitter Ordeal or overwhelm the board with Finale of Devastation. If the commander is unavailable, the deck pivots to a compact backup combo using Witherbloom Apprentice and Chain of Smog. Robust tutors, low-cost ramp, and silence effects like City of Solitude ensure fast and resilient execution.
