TMNT - Counters & Tokens by user1707132

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 42

Deck overview

This five-color Commander deck utilizes the partner pairing of Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart to establish a compounding +1/+1 counter and token engine. Michelangelo enters early to generate Food tokens and distribute counters via Raid, which immediately triggers Leonardo to place counters across the entire team. The deck amplifies this baseline synergy using premier counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season, alongside token multipliers such as Academy Manufactor. Combat lethality is achieved by activating Leonardo's five-color overrun ability, doubling damage with Raphael, the Muscle, or casting asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye. The list protects its proactive board state through a resilient defensive package including Heroic Intervention, Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and The Ozolith, which safeguards accumulated counters across removal cycles.
