Deck overview

This Boros artifact deck is commanded by Osgir, the Reconstructor. It combines graveyard recursion, artifact token duplication, and aggressive creature beatdown. The primary strategy involves stocking the graveyard early with mana rocks, card-draw artifacts, and heavy hitters through looting and sacrifice outlets. Once Osgir enters the battlefield, he duplicates these artifacts at a two-for-one rate, quickly doubling mana production, card flow, and battlefield presence. The deck applies lethal pressure through scaling artifact threats like Bronze Guardian, wide construct armies from Digsite Engineer, and direct burn triggers from Alibou, Ancient Witness. Efficient one-mana removal spells like Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, and Dispatch keep opposing threats in check, while asymmetric board wipes like Organic Extinction decimate enemy boards while leaving your artifact army untouched. With backup recursion engines like Daretti, Scrap Savant and game-ending mass reanimation from Wake the Past, the deck maintains strong mid-to-late game resilience.
