Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal stompy strategy helmed by The Ur-Dragon. The game plan revolves around leveraging the commander's eminence ability to discount massive flying threats, curving out from early ramp into dominating mid-game creatures. Value engines like Temur Ascendancy, Garruk's Uprising, and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm keep hands full while doubling threats on the battlefield. Combat dominance is achieved through explosive damage multipliers such as Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, and Terror of the Peaks. While the deck possesses immense board presence and crushing combat steps, its high average mana value and tap-land mana base make it relatively slow to interact at instant speed. It is also inherently vulnerable to sweepers due to a lack of dedicated countermagic or mass-protection spells, relying instead on high threat density to rebuild.
