Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet coin-flip engine built around partner commanders Okaun, Eye of Chaos and Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom. The primary strategy uses artifact tutors like Fabricate, Tribute Mage, and Whir of Invention to find Krark's Thumb and accelerate mana with dense two-mana rocks. Once Okaun hits the board on Turn 4, the deck enters combat on Turn 5 to trigger coin flips. With Krark's Thumb doubling flip odds, Okaun reliably doubles its power three or more times to reach 24+ power, eliminating opponents with unblockable equipment or flings like Chandra's Ignition and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. Simultaneously, Zndrsplt draws massive card volume on every flip win. If the combat route is contested, the deck pivots into an instant-speed infinite flip combo with Frenetic Efreet, drawing the library into Laboratory Maniac or draining the table with Psychosis Crawler. A solid suite of countermagic and protective boots defends the combo.
