Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Grixis Wheel-Storm strategy commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. It accelerates mana through low-cost artifacts and rituals to deploy punishing static payoffs such as Nekusar, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Orcish Bowmasters, and Waste Not. Once an engine piece is active, the deck casts symmetrical draw-and-discard spells like Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Dark Deal to burn all three opponents simultaneously while shredding their formulated hands. Mana produced by Waste Not or graveyard recursion from Underworld Breach allows the pilot to chain several wheels in a single turn, eliminating the table in one decisive flurry. Robust free interaction including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat protects the win attempt from opposing interaction. In addition to wheel burn, the deck integrates a compact secondary win condition using Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation, providing resilience against damage prevention and board wipes.
