Zombie Sacrifice by user4753686

Format: Commander

Commander: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a Zombie tribal sacrifice/drain build helmed by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, heavily modified from the Grave Danger precon. The core strategy is to generate Zombie tokens through Wilhelt's triggered ability, amass effects, and mass token makers, then sacrifice them for value-drawing cards, generating mana, and triggering life-drain effects. The primary win condition is incremental life loss from cards like Diregraf Captain, Vengeful Dead, Bastion of Remembrance, and Plague Belcher, supported by large burst drains from Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Lotleth Giant. Mass reanimation spells like Zombie Apocalypse and Necromantic Selection provide board recovery. The deck lacks an infinite combo in the current list (no mana-producing sac outlet for Gravecrawler loops), so it wins through sustained attrition and combat.
