Deck overview

This deck is a Jund graveyard-midrange strategy led by Eddie Brock // Venom, Lethal Protector. The primary engine focuses on establishing an early board state with low-cost ramp and self-mill, casting Eddie Brock to recover a 1-drop permanent, and ramping to 6 mana by Turn 5 to transform into Venom, Lethal Protector. Venom attacks immediately with haste, sacrificing either cheap fodder or discounted beaters like Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis and Ghoultree to draw a massive grip of cards and cheat catastrophic threats into play, including Avacyn, Angel of Horror, Ancient Stone Idol, and Ghalta, Primal Hunger. When the commander plan is contested, the deck seamlessly transitions into a classic Jund reanimator shell via Entomb, Buried Alive, Animate Dead, and Victimize. The win condition relies on overwhelming combat pressure, demanding three turn cycles to close out 120 total life.
